Join the citizens of Key West and fans from around the world to celebrate the life and music of Jimmy Buffett throughout Labor Day Weekend. Events planned so far include a cheeseburger contest and welcome party; a bubbles brunch; walking tours; a 5k run/walk; a margarita bar crawl and scavenger hunt; and on Sunday, the Second Line Memorial Walking Parade and free outdoor celebration and concert at Truman Waterfront Park. Will Kimbrough, co-writer of “Bubbles Up,” will be one of the performers, along with some of Key West’s best singer-songwriters. On Monday, plans include a sunset cruise and a farewell but not forgotten party. All proceeds from $30 commemorative parade passes go to support Bahama Village Music Program and Reef Relief.
