SUMMARY:Happy Hour with the Historian: The Streets of Key West
DESCRIPTION:We walk or ride our bikes down Simonton\, Southard\, Whitehead\, and Fleming street without giving much thought to the streets’ namesakes or the history belonging to each. This lecture will take attendees on a tour of the island’s streets\, learning a bit about the people the streets are named for\, the streets’ historical importance and notable buildings that were used by merchants\, residents and businesses. \nThis event is sponsored in part by the Department of State\, Division of Arts and Culture\, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture and the State of Florida\, with additional support provided by Comedy Key West.

SUMMARY:Jazz in the Gardens
DESCRIPTION:Whether you are trying to unwind after a day of exploring Key West or prepping for a night out on nearby Duval Street\, d’vine Wine Gallery at the Gardens Hotel is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine while listening to some great live music. The Gallery hosts live music performances Sunday evenings from 5-7:30pm. \nOne of the unique things about our Key West wine bar is that it is self-serve and open 8 am – 8 pm. As a guest\, you will receive a D’vine card to choose your wine portion—1\, 3 or 6 ounces—so you can have a taste of all the wines or a whole glass of your favorite. There are plenty of wine varietals to choose from\, and the system is automated so you can pour a new glass at your leisure. Bottles are also available for purchase. We also have a variety of sparkling wines available.
