“Inspecting Carol” is a delightful mix of “A Christmas Carol,” “Noises Off,” “Waiting for Guffman.”
A struggling theater company is in danger of losing its National Endowment for the Arts funding. In order to “spice up” their annual production of “A Christmas Carol,” the company adds contemporary (and entirely inappropriate) additions to the beloved holiday tradition. With a cast of twelve actors, period costumes, and plenty of laughs, “Inspecting Carol” will be a strong draw to the many visiting families who are in town for the holidays looking for a fun evening out.
