It’s the beginning of June, which means Pride Week in Key West! If you’re ready for some Key West Pride, set in a tropical island famous for its laid back and open atmosphere, make sure to plan a Key West trip around June 8th through June 12th.
Joining Pride Week in Key West
What is there to do during Pride Week? At 5pm on June 8th, Pride Week kicks off with a party at the Island House, Key West’s gay men’s resort. Here you can meet the finalists of the Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic. The final competition is during Pride Week, where these bartenders compete in the world’s largest annual LGBT bartending competition.
Hang out with the bartenders and celebrity judges for the start of Pride Week. The $20 cover benefits the Key West Business Guild, a nonprofit organization.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Later that night, at 8pm, you can move on to Key West Pride’s annual Ms. Pride Pageant, for the women of Pride, whether lesbian, bisexual or transgender!
