Discover the historic charm of Key West at The Oldest House Museum & Tom Majors Garden, built in 1829. Step inside this original Bahamian, English, and Greek revival structure to explore the preserved interior rooms, offering a glimpse into the Watlington family’s life during the city’s heyday. Wander through the expansive tropical gardens where benches invite you to sit and relax in the shade. There, you will see the oldest surviving cook house in South Florida, learn how they collected potable water, and view maritime artifacts.
Open daily 10am to 4pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, with free admission for children under 12 or with a Monroe County Student ID.
