Free Admission for Locals at Tropic Cinema

Whether you’re a film enthusiast or just looking for a fun, free night out, the whole month of August is all about celebrating our local film lovers and the vibrant community we cherish. It’s our way of saying thank you for being part of the Tropic Cinema family!

The Tropic Cinema, Key West’s iconic theatre, kicks off locals appreciation month on August 1^st. Locals will be admitted free Tuesdays and Sundays from August 1^st through August 30^th with proof of Monroe County residency. One ticket per I.D. holder; children 12 and under are admitted free with resident I.D. holder.

Tropic Cinema offers a wide variety of films daily except for Wednesday with show times starting from midday through evening hours. In operation since 2004 it has become one of Key West’s most recognized landmarks.
