HURRICANE IAN ASSISTANCE

With the recent impact of Hurricane Ian, it is an important time to come together as One Human Family to help support the wonderful Key West community. Listed below are links to donate to those in need and other information on ways to help.

MARGARITAVILLE OCTOBER SPECIALS

Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville is going PINK for October and breast cancer awareness month. Buy a Pink Parrot T-Shirt or Pink Key Lime Pie and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Singing for Change.

Football season is back, celebrate on game day at Margaritaville with $20 buckets of Landshark, Budweiser, Bud Light, and Michelob Ultra and $3 off appetizers at the bar.

 

 

 

FANTASY FEST KWAA MEMBER EVENTS

Fantasy Fest is back in full swing for October 2022. Founded in 1979, the party has gotten bigger and better every year and has become Key West’s most famous and anticipated annual festival. The theme for Fantasy Fest 2022 is Cult Classics and Cartoon Chaos. More information can be found at https://www.fantasyfest.com/

Fantasy Facade Competition – Sponsored by the Key West Chamber of Commerce

The Key West Bicentennial Exhibit – Celebrating 200 Years

  • Key West was first permanently settled in 1822. The Custom House Museum will be presenting “Key West 200”, an exhibition in honor of this settlement, through December 11, 2022. Located at 281 Front Street, open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily.

Sunset Happy Hour with Captain Morgan Cocktails at the Opal Resort

Aloha from Margaritaville

Smokin Tuna Homemade Bikini Contest

  • Emcee Mr. Bill Hoebee and celebrity judges will present the 29th Key West Homemade Bikini Contest at 8 p.m. Over $2,000 in cash and prizes are up for grabs for the most creative contestant! Admission is $20, participation is $20. Doors open at 7pm. Located at 4 Charles Street.

39th Annual Headdress Ball

  • The Key West Business Guild is proud to host the 39th Annual Headdress Ball at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater and showcase the talented headdress makers. The competition has a first place prize of $3,000, a second place prize of $1,000, and a third place prize of $500. Tickets for table, chair, or lawn seating can be found at www.keystix.com. Proceeds go towards promoting LGBTQ+ tourism to Key West.

Sloppy Joe’s 43rd Annual Toga Party

  • Join the live music and dancing festivities in your best toga attire! Enter the toga contest with a group of 2 – 8 people for a chance to win a Sloppy Joe’s Gift card – bonus points if you use the Fantasy Fest theme “Cult Classics and Cartoon Chaos”. Parade Viewing at the Hard Rock Cafe
