The Key West Harry S Truman Foundation, Inc. exists for the purpose of protecting and preserving the building and grounds of the state historic site known as the Harry S. Truman Little White House in Key West, Florida. In addition to its importance as a historic landmark, it is also a site of continuing historic events and visits by world leaders.
The upcoming event is one of the museums’ largest. This year marks the 15th Annual Truman Legacy Symposium, which is held in Key West. If you are interested in Harry Truman’s Legacy toward Latin & South America, you won’t want to miss this years events.
Some of the Annual Truman Legacy Events
Symposium
At this years symposium, you will learn more about the Legacy of the Truman Administration and foreign policy topics related to Latin America and South America. The event takes place Friday, April 21st at The Little White House and Saturday, April 22nd at the San Carlos Institute. You can register online for this event.
Paella Cook-Off Celebration
Experience the unforgettable ambiance on the North Lawn of the Little White House and settle in for a night of history, paella, cigars, drinks, amazing raffle prizes, silent auction and fun to support the preservation efforts of Harry Truman’s Poker Porch. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite paella dish prepared by renowned local friends and don your favorite guayaberas!
