Old Island Restoration Foundation – Home Tours
63rd Annual Home Tours – February 17th and 18th and March 17th and 18th, 2023
Come experience one of the longest running events in Key West. Each month we offer locals and visitors alike a chance to take a peek into some of the most beautiful homes on the island. Each month features a new selection of homes to be toured. OIRF takes pride in recruiting homes that showcase all sizes, age, architectural features, family history, rehabilitation projects, and island prominence. Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden
“Nature is Art” Series – February 25th, 1 pm
The Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden is embarking on an exciting new “Nature is Art” series that will include a 2-part photography workshop with noted nature wildlife photographer Kristie Killam. Kristie has a long history in the Keys and with nature, as a US Fish & Wildlife Ranger with the National Key Deer Refuge, biologist, and teacher.
A presentation on wildlife photography equipment, techniques, and subjects is set for Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Garden’s Nature Chapel, followed by in the field workshop on March 11, 2023, to put those techniques into practice. The resulting ‘nature to art’ will be displayed at the Garden starting April 20, 2023.

This year we are pleased to be celebrating a few milestones: Key West Business Guild, Celebrating 45 years – Pride – Celebrating 20th anniversary of the “Sea-to-Sea Rainbow Flag.”, Headdress Ball – celebrating 40 Years! The Guild was formed in 1978 to encourage summer tourism and support Key West’s gay community. The KWBG is the nation’s first LGBTQ+ destination marketing organization. From a small original membership, it has grown to include more than 475 enterprises representing virtually every facet of the island’s business community.

Presidential Families’ Weekend, February 17th – 20th
The Key West Harry S. Truman Foundation, in partnership with the Society of Presidential Descendants, is presenting the annual Presidential Families Weekend in February 2023. It is the largest gathering of presidential descendants on Presidents’ Day in the Country. Buy tickets here.

Back in Time Fundraiser, February 17th, 6 pm – 10 pm
Step back in time with Key West Art & Historical Society’s Annual Fundraiser Dinner for a Prohibition Party like you’ve never seen as we transform Fort East Martello into the A1A Speakeasy.
