Key West is known for its love of the creative, so it should come as no surprise that it is home to one of the world’s largest annual music festivals. People travel from all over to experience eclectic musical talent in one of the world’s most vibrant communities. Key West also cultivates the creative mind through community involvement at places such as The Studios of Key West. They have played host to world renowned artists and musicians, and every month hundreds of people visit The Studios to take in new experiences.

Music can help transport you to a different time and place. Why not experience that music in Key West and create memories that you can relive time and again.

Where to Find the Music

Smokin’ Tuna Saloon

The Smokin’ Tuna Saloon is serving as the official merchandise and information center for this year’s Key West Songwriters Festival being held from May 10th through the 14th. This music festival is the largest of it’s kind in the world. The festival revolves around five days and nights where live musical talent introduces crowds, of tourists and locals alike, to the faces, voices and stories behind the songs.

The Studios of Key West

Established in 2006, The Studios of Key West is a professional non-profit cultural organization promoting multidisciplinary arts, providing artist-in-residency opportunities for artists worldwide, and maintaining long-term studio spaces dedicated to Florida Keys artists. The Studios was founded with the vision of bringing world class artists to the island, connecting them with local audiences and artists, and offering space for both to explore their creativity.
